HorrorSimulationMining

Sealed inside a rusty iron nest, you grind 4,000 meters into the cold abyss with only a porthole and sonar to see by. Chart the depths, keep the engine breathing and follow your orders. The deeper you go, the stranger it gets. Something waits at the bottom, and you are not alone on board.

Inside the Iron Drill

One operator. One rusty drilling machine.

A contract to bore 4,000 meters down.

Iron Drill is a first-person survival horror game where every lever, valve and breaker answers to your hands. The company sends the quotas. Keeping the machine alive is up to you, Operator.

Dig blind

The porthole shows nothing but rock. You navigate by sonar, a nav computer and the sounds the hull makes. Lock onto a contact, plot a route and steer the drill into rock no one has charted. Some contacts are ore. Some are not.

Keep it running

Haul the ore, melt metal in the crucible, press conductor and refine fuel. Meet the shipment quota and spend what's left on upgrades. When the hull breaches, valves leak and the engine stalls, you have seconds. The machine is allowed to fail. You are not.

Don't look back

A sound in the hull that shouldn't be there. A tool that isn't where you left it. A shape at the edge of the light, gone when you turn. Something is waiting at the bottom, and every meter brings you closer.

The last operator's status is listed as unknown. Maybe you are not alone on board.
